As a (very proud!) psychology graduate from Barnard College at Columbia University, I was taught to embrace my creative and analytical strengths in order to further my interests in industrial/organizational (IO) psychology and consumer marketing strategies.
In my experiences in both work related tasks and volunteering efforts, I have used my left and right brain skill set to: create content for digital platforms, organize large quantities of data that are instrumental for lead generations, and formulate marketing strategies for niche and specific audiences. Much of my work, whether it be in the luxury goods/cosmetics, editorial, or financial industries, has centered on constantly monitoring and analyzing the most popular trends in multi-billion dollar sectors.
Apart from my work experience, I have cultivated interests in: maintaining my knowledge of learned languages, such as Hindi and Spanish, keeping up with current events and media, and staying informed on topics I had done extensive research on in college such as South Asian studies and civil rights internationally.
Having attended an extremely competitive women’s college, much of the work that I do considers women’s rights and issues. I am a proud “feminist-in-progress” (inspired by activists around me) and work to further the modern day women’s movement in nonprofit work and day to day.
